As Austria is part of the European Union and the Schengen area, similar Visa regulations as for the Annual Conference 2018 in Berlin apply.
Nationals of EU member states, the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland do not require a visa for entering the Republic of Austria. All other nationals require a visa in order to enter the Schengen Area or the Austrian territory. For stays of up to 90 days per 180 days these individuals require a Schengen visa, given that they do not take up employment.
We will provide an invitation letter and conference description for your Visa application. Please register as early as possible for the AC2021, so we can make sure you get your Visa issued. For your application, you need to pay a fee of 60€.
For further information we refer to this homepage of the Austrian Foreign ministry.
The website lists the required documents you need to bring to the embassy.
The Republic of Austria does not hold representations in every country. A list where the Republic of Austria is represented by a Schengen partner is provided by the Austrian government.
Please note, that the decision of granting your Schengen Visa is then up to the representing partner. The Austrian government can influence the decision of this representation.
